WHO IS NANUBHAI?
Nanubhai Nayik served as the principal of The Kadod High School from 1963 to 1984. He was, by all accounts, authoritative, but nevertheless adored by his students and fellow staff members. Due to his outstanding leadership and revolutionary approach to education, during his tenure, over 500 professionals emigrated from a small town of 10,000 in rural Gujarat to America and the UK. Nanubhai transformed a sleepy rural education system into one that created incredible opportunities for its students. We named our Foundation after him to honor his sacrifices and achievements.
Long retired from education, Nanubhai Nayik has given us his blessings and counsel for our Foundation's efforts. We hope we will able continue his legacy of providing quality education to improve the lives of students and families of rural India. |
