Nanubhai Goes Coast-to-Coast this week, in DC, Philly, NYC and SF… and two new chapters!

November 9, 2010 by Heidi
Friends – Exciting times this week for Nanubhai. Four events, two new chapters, and plenty of the good work, good people and good times that make Nanubhai what it is. We hope you can join us to learn about the latest in Nanubhai’s work educating students and their teachers in rural India, meet our new executive director Steve Gibson, and maybe even see how you can help. WASHINGTON, DC — It all begins on Thursday in Washington, DC, with the kick-off event for Nanubhai’s new Washington DC Chapter, with a happy hour from 6:30-8:30 pm at Co Co Sala (929 F St, NW). PHILADELPHIA — On Friday, you can catch Nanubhai Founder Raj Shah’s presentation at the Wharton Social Impact Conference in Philadelphia. He’s speaking at 4:45 pm, and there will be an unofficial happy hour with Raj, exec director Steve and several Nanubhai board members to follow. Then on Saturday night, Nanubhai goes coast-to-coast, with dual (but not dueling) events in NYC and SF. NEW YORK — Join the crew from Nanubhai’s first and biggest chapter at PS 450 (450 Park Ave South , on west side of street) from 7-ish to 9-ish for happy hour and the early scoop on this year’s Nanubhai gala. SAN FRANCISCO — Or head on over to the Hi-Fi Lounge (2125 Lombard) from 5-8 pm for the inaugural gathering of our new San Francisco chapter. While Raj and Steve won’t be able to make it, the Bay Area team has big plans that you’ll want to be the first to hear about and get involved. It doesn’t matter which event you attend (or gas-up the Citation and try to make all four), it just matters that you be there. As we look ahead, and look to grow, we look forward to seeing you. And, as always, bring a friend. The Nanubhai Team
