Our Impact
Our goal is to improve rural
education in India by enhancing the quality of teachers through Professional Development and Teacher Training workshops and enabling rural Indian students to achieve English language proficiency. As part of our commitment to continued self-improvement, Nanubhai has evolved to meet the changing needs of its partner schools since its founding in 2004. Nanubhai’s early focus was on the construction of 2 30-unit computer labs for Kadod High School, allowing Kadod High School to enter the digital age and offer computer classes to their 2,200 students. Additionally, Nanubhai sponsored the training of two computer teachers at Microsoft Academy in Jaipur.
Since the start of its Teaching Fellows and Summer interns program in 2007, Nanubhai’s reach has increased each year in three areas:
- Student success
- Student learning
- School infrastructure.
