Our Mission

Our Vision: All students in rural India’s public high schools will receive the same quality of education as their urban peers and will be equally competitive as applicants for jobs in India’s new economy. Our Mission: The Nanubhai Education Foundation, founded in 2004, is dedicated to improving rural education in India, thereby expanding the economic opportunities available to the students of the country’s rural public high schools.  We work to inspire the students of our partner schools, especially women, to achieve excellence, enroll in higher education and participate in India’s new economy. By establishing strong school partnerships with existing vernacular medium rural high schools and their committed principals and teachers, our approach transforms rural education in India from the inside out. Our unique fellows program partners experienced educators with each school to mentor and inspire local teachers to become excellent educators and leaders in their communities, provide enrichment services and programs for our students and to conduct area-wide teacher trainings and professional development seminars.
